Zeke raised his golden eyebrows in surprise. “What?”

I folded my arms across my chest, and let out a patient sigh. “How much? For the girl?”

Zeke let out a large puff of smoke out of his cruel lips, and grinned wickedly. I could see the three of his golden molders, shining back at me- mocking my pained expression.

“You want her that much eh?” he chuckled- it was a terrible sound.

I nodded impatiently and placed my clammy hands onto his wooden desk. “How long has she been unconscious?” I ask suddenly.

Ch. 2
TRAINING
     Feralpaw looked up into Ivysplash's eyes expectantly.
     "Um," Ivysplash seemed to be trying to figure out what they should do now. "How about we take a tour of our territory?" Feralpaw's blue eyes widened. She nodded vigorously and hopped to her paws. She was about to sprint off towards the entrance when a large brown tabby tom came padding towards the two she-cats.
     "Congratulations Feralpaw," He mewed. Feralpaw tried to look pleased, but failed. She kept stealing glances at the entrance."and Ivysplash." He smiled.
     "Thanks Oakfur." Ivysplash had a proud gleam in her eye.
     "I better be off before your apprentice explodes with excitement." He let out a mrrow of laughter, and padded off.
     Feralpaw sighed as two more cats came up to them.
     "Don't worry little one we aren't trying to stall you." A white tom with bright orange paws grinned. A tortoiseshell she-cat stood next to him. Feralpaw noticed Sleekpaw and Specklepaw beside them. The tom looked at Ivysplash. "Would you like to explore our territory with us?"
     "What do you think Feralpaw?" Ivysplash kindly asked her. Feralpaw saw Sleekpaw nodding at her.
     "Sure." Feralpaw just wanted to go. She'd been stalled long enough.
     Feralpaw trotted over to Specklepaw and Sleekpaw.
     "I can't believe it!" Sleekpaw mewed.
     "We're apprentices now!" Specklepaw chimed in.
     "I know!" Feralpaw couldn't help sharing their excitement. "Who is Splotchpaw's mentor?" She asked, trying not to be obvious. "I wasn't listening." Feralpaw looked down at her paws.
     "Are you ready to go?" The tortoiseshell she-cat asked.
     "Yes, Spottedflower." Specklepaw answered eagerly.
     The six cats began to trot. The mentors leading the way, and the apprentices in the back continuing their conversation.
     Sleekpaw rolled her eyes. "Of course you want to know who SPLOTCHPAW'S mentor is." Specklepaw giggled at that comment.
     "Be quiet!" Feralpaw's fur felt hot. "We're just friends."
     "Oh please." Specklepaw meowed. "I see how he looks at you! And I think I would know who my own brother likes."
     Feralpaw's eyes widened. "He lik-" Feralpaw caught herself in mid sentence. "I mean-That's not true."
     Sleekpaw and Specklepaw began to laugh.
     "Alright girls," The white tom looked at them. "we're here to learn."
     "Sorry Glowingpaws." The apprentices muttered.
     Ivysplash smiled at them.
